This conversation book you are about to read, teaches not only how to have conversations in Hebrew, but provides much more. Each conversation includes modern slang words and expressions. We also teach basic grammar in the course of each conversation: verbs, nouns, adjectives, question words, and more.
The conversation book includes exercises that will improve your Hebrew and improve your ability to remember what you learned in each conversation. You can find all the answers to the exercises in the last pages of the conversation book.
We would like to direct your attention to the pages titled "Did You Know?" we believe that when you learn a language, you need to know its roots. This is true for every language, but it is especially true for the Hebrew language, whose words and structure are built on roots. One word is connected to another word, and together they create a family of words that are all related to each other. In this way, you too can enjoy the amazing wealth of the Hebrew language, and the history of its words.
To make the most of the conversation book:
1. Read the main text of the conversation and understand the text.
2. Listen to the CD while you read the text.
3. Read the words in the dictionary page and learn them.
4. Listen to the CD alone, making sure you understand all of what was said.
5. Do the exercises in the book to better understand what you learned and to remember all the different words.
6. Listen to every conversation, as many times as you can. This will help you learn
to pronounce the words correctly, and get used to hearing the Hebrew language.
Good luck!
